发明名称 USING 64-BIT STORAGE TO QUEUE INCOMING TRANSACTION SERVER REQUESTS
摘要 According to one embodiment, a method for queuing a transaction request. The method may include receiving, by a processor, at least one transaction request from a transaction processing system. The method may also include storing the at least one received transaction request in a queue within a 64-bit storage system. The method may further include monitoring a 31-bit storage system. The method may also include determining at least one control block within the monitored 31-bit storage system is available. The method may further include transmitting the at least one stored transaction request to the monitored 31-bit storage system.

主权项 1. A processor-implemented method for queuing at least one transaction request, the method comprising: receiving, by a processor, the at least one transaction request from a transaction processing system, wherein the transaction processing system is hosted on a client-side device and comprises at least one of a sales order management system, an airline reservation system, a payroll system, an employee records system, a banking system, an insurance system, and a shipping system, in a transaction queuing program; determining none of a plurality of control blocks are available to process the received at least one transaction request in a 31-bit storage system; storing the at least one received transaction request in a single queue within a 64-bit storage system based on determining none of the plurality of control blocks are available in the 31-bit storage system, wherein storing the at least one received transaction request in the 64-bit storage system occurs when the 31-bit storage system is unavailable to process the at least one received transaction request, wherein the 31-bit storage system being unavailable occurs when the 31-bit storage system is offline or has reached a processing capacity, wherein the single queue includes each at least one stored transaction request; monitoring the 31-bit storage system for at least one control block within the plurality of control blocks to become available; determining the at least one control block within the monitored 31-bit storage system is available; transmitting the at least one stored transaction request to the monitored 31-bit storage system based on determining the at least one control block is available, wherein transmitting the at least one stored transaction request prioritizes transmitting a transaction request with a fewest total number of control blocks needed to process over transmitting a transaction request with a greatest total number of control blocks needed to process; and processing the at least one transmitted transaction request using the at least one determined control block within the 31-bit storage system.
