摘要 According to one embodiment, a nonaqueous electrolyte battery is a provided. The nonaqueous electrolyte battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode layer. The positive electrode layer includes at least one olivine-type compound and a positive electrode binder. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode layer. The negative electrode layer includes at least one oxide and a negative electrode binder. The positive electrode binder and/or the negative electrode binder include at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a polyacrylic acid, a polyacrylate, and a copolymer thereof.

A nonaqueous electrolyte battery, comprising: a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode layer comprising a positive electrode binder and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an olivine-type lithium iron phosphate having a specific surface area of 3 m2/g or more and 25 m2/g or less, an olivine-type lithium manganese phosphate having a specific surface area of 15 m2/g or more and 50 m2/g or less, and an olivine-type lithium manganese iron phosphate having a specific surface area of from 15 m2/g or more and 50 m2/g or less; a negative electrode comprising a negative electrode layer comprising a negative electrode binder and at least one oxide selected from the group consisting of a lithium titanate having a spinel-type structure and a specific surface area of 2 m2/g or more and 20 m2/g or less, a monoclinic β-type titanium composite oxide having a specific surface area of 10 m2/g or more and 30 m2/g or less, and a niobium-containing titanium composite oxide having a specific surface area of 5 m2/g or more and 25 m2/g or less; and a nonaqueous electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode binder and/or the negative electrode binder comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a polyacrylic acid, a polyacrylate, and a copolymer thereof.
