A compound of Formula I or II: or a salt thereof; wherein R1 and R2, when taken alone, are independently, halo, hydroxyl, amino, C1-6 alkylamino, C2-12 dialkylamino, C1-6 perfluoroalkyl, C1-6 alkyl, or C1-6 alkoxy; R3 and R4 are (CH2)3SO3H; R5 and R6, when taken alone, are independently H, C1-6 carbonyl or substituted C1-6 alkyl, wherein at least one of R5 and R6 is C1-6 alkyl substituted with a substituent selected from the group consisting of SO3H, COOH, OH, and NH2, maleimide, thiol, isocyanate, isothiocyanate, disulfide, alkynyl, azidoyl and trialkoxysilane; R7 and R8 are independently H, C1-4 alkyl, or phenyl; X and Y are independently CR92, NR10, O or S; and each R9 and R10 is independently C1-4 alkyl. |
