A cyclic azine compound represented by the formula (1): wherein, in the formula (1), each Ar1 represents phenyl group, p-tolyl group, m-tolyl group, o-tolyl group, 2,6-dimethylphenyl group, 4-tert-butylphenyl group, 4-biphenylyl group, 3-biphenylyl group, 2-biphenylyl group, 3-(3-pyridyl)phenyl group, 4-(3-pyridyl)phenyl group, 3-(4-pyridyl)phenyl group, or 4-(4-pyridyl)phenyl group; and A represents a group selected from the group consisting of those which are represented by the following formulae (2) to (4): wherein, in the formula (2), each Ar2 represents a substituted phenyl group or a condensed aromatic hydrocarbon group not having a 16 group element, provided that a 1,3,5-trimethylphenyl group is excluded from Ar2; wherein, in the formula (3), Ar3 represents a phenyl group, a pyridyl group or a pyrimidyl group; Ar4 represents an anthryl group which is unsubstituted or substituted by an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, a phenanthryl group which is unsubstituted or substituted by an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, a fluorenyl group which is unsubstituted or substituted by an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, a benzofluorenyl group which is unsubstituted or substituted by an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, an unsubstituted pyrenyl group, an unsubstituted triphenylenyl group; X represents a phenylene group or a pyridylene group; p represents an integer of 0 to 2 provided that, when p is 2, the two Xs may be the same or different; and Z1 represents a carbon atom; wherein, in the formula (4), each Ar5 represents a pyridyl group, and each Ar6 represent a phenyl group or a pyridyl group; Z2 represents a carbon atom and each Z3 represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom. |
