Method and Apparatus for Forming and Mounting a Photovoltaic Array

A PV module framing and coupling system which enables the attachment of PV modules to a roof or other mounting surface without requiring the use of separate structural support members which attach directly to and span between multiple PV modules in a formed PV array and a cable management system that holds, directs, organizes, and otherwise manages cables, wires, cord, and similar components of and relating to a PV array.

1. A photovoltaic module comprising:
a frame supporting a photovoltaic laminate, said frame comprising an outer portion and an inner portion, said inner portion substantially beneath said photovoltaic laminate; and a wire clip comprising a wire channel for holding a wire, an arm portion extending away from said wire channel, a slot portion near a first end of said arm portion, and a catch portion near a second end of said arm portion; wherein said catch portion engages said outer portion and said slot portion engages a portion of said frame underneath said PV module to securely attach said wire clip to said frame.
