1. A polyurethane formulation comprising:
(i) a pyrrolidine-based catalyst compound of the formula (I) where R is selected from the group consisting of: (CH2)n—R3, (CH2)n—OR3, (CH2)n—NR3COR4, (CH2)n—NR3SO2R4, (CH2)n—COOR3 , (CH2)n—COR3, (CH2)n—SR3 , (CH2)n—OR3, (CH2)n—SO2R3, (CH2)n—SO3H, (CH2)n—SONR3R4 and (CH2)n—SO2NR3 R4 ; R3 and R4 are independently selected from: H; lower alkyl optionally substituted with halogen, hydroxy, lower alkoxy, N(lower alkyl)2, NCO, oxo, carboxy, carboxy lower alkyl, cycloalkyl and heteroaryl; lower cycloalkyl optionally substituted with halogen, lower alkoxy, lower alkyl, carboxy, carboxy lower alkoxy, carboxy lower alkyl, oxo, CN, NCO and NHSO2-lower alkyl; lower alkenyl optionally substituted with halogen, hydroxy, NH2, NH-lower alkyl, NCO and N-(lower alkyl)2; lower alkynyl optionally substituted with halogen, hydroxy, NH2, NH-lower alkyl, NCO and N-(lower alkyl)2; lower cycloalkenyl optionally substituted with halogen, lower alkoxy, lower alkyl, carboxy, carboxy lower alkoxy, oxo, NCO and CN; aryl optionally substituted with halogen, lower alkoxy, hydroxy, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, cycloalkyl, carboxy, carboxy lower alkoxy, carboxy lower alkyl, oxo, CN and CONR5R6, heteroaryl optionally substituted with halogen, lower alkoxy, lower alkyl, carbonyl, carboxy, carboxy lower alkyl, carboxy lower alkoxy, oxo and CN; and heterocycle optionally substituted with halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, carboxy, carboxy lower alkoxy, oxo, NCO, CN, SO2-lower alkyl, and lower alkyl that is substituted with oxo; and n is an integer from 1 to 6; (ii) a compound containing an isocyanate functional group; and (iii) an active hydrogen-containing compound. |
