zirconia particles; ceria particles which contact the zirconia particles, of which a mean particle size is smaller than a mean particle size of the zirconia particles; and an active metal that is supported on at least the ceria particles in a dispersed manner, wherein the active metal is Cu, wherein a mean particle size of the ceria particles is 1 to 9 nm, wherein a percentage of the ceria particles to the zirconia particles is 5 to 30% by weight, and a mean particle size of the zirconia particles is 5 to 30 nm. |
