A pattern shape of light applied from any of the light sources to the light entering surface has a shape anisotropy, and the light sources are each disposed to allow a longitudinal direction of the pattern shape to be inclined relative to the first direction. |

1. A light-emitting unit, comprising:
a light-guide section including a first light-guide section and a second light-guide section that are stacked, each of the first and second light-guide sections being a plate-shaped member including a pair of main surfaces opposed to each other and at least one other surface, one of the main surfaces being a light exiting surface and the at least one other surface being a light entering surface, wherein the light entering surface of at least one light-guide section of the first or second light-guide sections is a side surface of the at least one light-guide section; and a plurality of light sources including first and second light sources opposed to the light entering surfaces respectively of the first and second light-guide sections and arrayed in a first direction, and each having an anisotropy in emission intensity, wherein a pattern shape of light applied from any of the light sources to the light entering surfaces has a shape anisotropy, and the light sources are each disposed to allow a longitudinal direction of the pattern shape to be inclined relative to the first direction. |
