A small-sized capsule endoscope apparatus is provided. The capsule endoscope apparatus 2 is introduced into a subject and obtains in-vivo information on an inside of the subject and transmits the in-vivo information to an outside. The capsule endoscope apparatus 2 includes a shared coil 29 capable of transmitting and receiving radio waves and capable of implementing a plurality of functions, a function switching unit 27 configured to switch between functions of the shared coil 29, and a switching controller 28 configured to cause the function switching unit 27 to switch between the functions of the shared coil 29 at a predetermined timing. |
