Device for treating saw teeth of a saw blade

The apparatus has a clamping device for clamping and guiding a saw blade to be processed. A computerized numerical controllable feed device displaces a predetermined saw tooth of the saw blade in a predetermined processing position. A stellite device (10) includes a wire supply device (12) for supplying welding wires (14), and a welding torch (16). A high-frequency starting device supplies heat to the predetermined saw tooth that is displaced in the processing position, where the starting device is displaceable from a rest position into a starting position and vice versa. An independent claim is also included for a method for processing of saw teeth of saw blades.
