1. A double-stranded nucleic acid molecule capable of targeting DDIT4 mRNA (SEQ ID NO:1), wherein
(a) the double-stranded nucleic acid molecule includes a sense strand and an antisense strand and wherein each strand is independently 18 to 49 nucleotides in length; (b) a 18 to 49 nucleotide sequence of the antisense strand is complementary to a 18 to 49 consecutive nucleotide sequence in the DDIT4 mRNA; (c) a 18 to 49 nucleotide sequence of the sense strand is complementary to the antisense strand; and (d) the sense strand and the antisense strand comprise oligonucleotide sequence pairs set forth in SEQ ID NOs:3 and 12; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of such molecule. |
