摘要 An inkjet printer comprising a plurality of nozzles, a plurality of pressure chambers, a plurality of diaphragms, a plurality of piezoelectric elements, and a controller. Each of the plurality of diaphragms is deflected between a first state and a second state. The controller is configured to control voltage application to each of the plurality of piezoelectric elements. When a diaphragm is in the first state, the controller applies a first voltage so that the diaphragm is substantially flat; and when the diaphragm is in the second state, the controller applies a second voltage. The controller is configured to control the voltage such that a pressure chamber ejects an ink droplet from the corresponding nozzle in response to the deflection of the diaphragm reverting from the second state to the first state.

An inkjet printer comprising: a plurality of nozzles; a plurality of pressure chambers in fluid communication with respective ones of the plurality of nozzles individually; a plurality of diaphragms attached to respective ones of the plurality of pressure chambers individually, each of the plurality of diaphragms being deflected between a first state in which corresponding pressure chamber has a first volume and a second state in which the corresponding pressure chamber has a second volume different from the first volume; a plurality of piezoelectric elements attached to respective ones of the plurality of diaphragms individually, each of the plurality of piezoelectric elements being configured to deflect corresponding diaphragm in response to a voltage applied to the each of the plurality of piezoelectric elements; and a controller configured to control voltage application to each of the plurality of piezoelectric elements, when a diaphragm is in the first state the controller applying a first voltage so that the diaphragm is substantially flat, and when the diaphragm is in the second state the controller applying a second voltage, the controller being configured to control the voltage such that a pressure chamber ejects an ink droplet from the corresponding nozzle in response to the deflection of the diaphragm reverting from the second state to the first state.
