摘要 A composite electrode material, manufacturing method thereof, and use thereof in a vanadium flow battery. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: dissolving an organic carbon source precursor in water, an organic solvent, or a combination thereof; adding a certain amount of a micro/nano spherical particle material to be a hard template; impregnating a three-dimensional carbon base material in the suspension, and placing the same in a tube furnace to be carbonized; and finally acid washing the materials to remove the particles used as the hard template, and performing repeated rinsing and drying. The composite electrode material has a surface presenting a uniform and porous morphology and interconnected pores having a pore diameter at a micro/nano scale, has high specific surface area and porosity, and at the same time, has a certain amount of oxygen-containing functional groups on the surface thereof, such as the hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, and lactone group. The composite electrode material can also be used as an electrode material for vanadium flow batteries, has higher electrocatalytic activity, and significantly lowers both a charge transfer resistance of the electrode reaction of an oxidation-reduction couple, VO2+/VO2 + , and a polarization overpotential generated therefrom.
