The purpose of the present invention is to enable communications using a communication method suitable for a future radio communication system in which multiple user terminals are multiplexed in a power region. This user terminal is equipped with: reception units for receiving downlink signals (DL) to the user terminal; and a decoding unit for decoding the DL signals to the user terminal. The DL signals to the user terminal and DL signals to other user terminals to be multiplexed therewith in a power region are differentiated from each other by at least one of a cyclic prefix (CP) length, a symbol length, and a transmission time interval (TTI) length.
