METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ACQUIRING OPTIMAL PROJECTION FOCAL POINT OF PROJECTOR

Disclosed are a method and system for acquiring an optimal projection focal point of a projector. The method comprises: making a projector project a projection picture to a projection area, and collecting a first environmental image including the projection area of the projector; making the projector stop projecting the projection picture to the projection area, and collecting a second environmental image including the projection area; extracting the projection picture according to the first environmental image and the second environmental image; calculating the definition of the projection picture; recording projection focal points of the projector, and establishing a correlation between the definition of the projection picture and the projection focal points; adjusting the projection focal point of the projector, and returning to the step of making the projector perform projection until the projector performs projection at all the projection focal points thereof; and acquiring a projection focal point corresponding to the projection picture with the highest definition, and taking the projection focal point corresponding to the projection picture with the highest definition as an optimal projection focal point. By means of the method, the present invention can acquire an optimal projection focal point of a projector.
