The present invention relates to a bar code reading apparatus using two markers to locate a bar code to be read, comprising: an imaging system for acquiring an image of a bar code to be read; and at least two optical indication modules for respectively forming indication markers at the bar code to be read, the at least two optical indication modules comprising a first optical indication module and a second optical indication module. The optical axes of the first optical indication module and the second optical indication module form an included angle. A first indication marker formed by the first optical indication module and a second indication marker formed by the second optical indication module intersect between a near plane and a far plane of the imaging system. The at least two optical indication modules having optical axes arranged to form an included angle cause the first indication marker and second indication marker to intersect between the near plane and the far plane of the imaging system, facilitating adjustment of the position of the bar code to be read. Disposing the intersection point on the bar code to be read precisely positions the bar code to be read, enabling the imaging system to acquire a clear image.
