METHODS FOR THE NEW MANUFACTURE OF A DIFFUSER IN A LAYER SYSTEM

The method involves introducing a through-hole (18) with a cross-section i.e. constant cross-section, across the thickness of a substrate (4). The substrate is coated with an inner metallic layer and/or an outer ceramic layer. A diffuser is introduced in the metallic layer and/or the outer ceramic layer. Additional material is removed in a diffuser portion of the substrate. The diffuser portion is arranged to represent a widening of the through-hole on a surface (16') of the substrate, where the diffuser represents an asymmetrical widening of an upper part of the through-hole.
