There is provided Processing files to be stored on virtual drive. A plurality of sets of parameters for processing files to be stored on a virtual drive and identifiers corresponding to the sets of parameters are stored. The files are processed by an encryption module, a conversion module and a signature module. Each set of parameters defines module-specific parameters for at least two of the modules. A file to be stored on the virtual drive is received and at least two of the modules are controlled by the set of parameters that has an identifier that indicates the filename of the received file.
