A greasable hood pin assembly that allows for lubrication between the hood and the bushing of a backhoe. The hood pin assembly comprises a lubricant nipple; a bolt comprising a longitudinal inner compartment for reception of the lubricant, the compartment extends from a top portion of the bolt into the bolt interior; and one or more bolt apertures,; and a bushing comprising a lubricant groove around the circumference of the bushing; and one or more bushing apertures along the lubricant groove, with each bushing aperture extending from the cylindrical surface of the bushing into a hollow portion of the bushing. The lubricant nipple is inserted into a top top portion of the bolt; and the bolt is inserted longitudinally into the bushing. |
