an information display part, which displays various information; and a communication part, which performs one of wireless communication and wired communication to/from a portable terminal device, wherein the information display part is configured to:
display screen information for notifying a user that electronic mail has been received when the portable terminal device has received the electronic mail while first screen information is displayed, one of in addition to the first screen information and instead of the first screen information; andcontinue to display second screen information when the portable terminal device has received the electronic mail while the second screen information is displayed, without displaying the screen information for notifying the user that the electronic mail has been received, and display the screen information for notifying the user that the electronic mail has been received after display of the second screen information is finished.
