A nightside inclined-vertical-butting welding method comprises the following steps: providing a weldment (10) and a welded plate (11) to which the weldment is to be welded. An end, to be welded to the welded plate (11), of the weldment (10) that is provided with a first welding side (101) and a second welding side (102), the first welding side (101) and the second welding side (102) forming a pointed cone, the first welding side (101) corresponding to a first welding area (21), and the second welding side (102) corresponding to a second welding area (22). In the first welding area (21), welding is performed at an innermost side of the pointed cone to form a first welding pass (1); in the second welding area (22), welding is performed at an innermost side of the pointed cone to form a second welding pass (2), and then the outer side of the second welding pass (2) is welded to form a third welding pass (3) adjacent to the second welding pass (2). In the first welding area (21), the outer side of the first welding pass (1) is welded to form a fourth welding pass (4), and then welding is performed at a position adjacent to the fourth welding pass (4) to form a fifth welding pass (5). In the second welding area (22), the outer side of the third welding pass (3) is welded to form a sixth welding pass (6). By means of the foregoing nightside inclined-vertical-butting welding method, residual stress can be effectively overcome, and welding deformation can be controlled and reduced.
