This endoscope treatment instrument comprises: a sheath having a lumen formed therein; a long-axis member inserted inside the lumen and having an insertion passage; a stylet arranged in the insertion passage; an implant connected, inside the insertion passage, to the tip of the stylet and being able to protrude from and retract to the tip of the long-axis member; and an operation unit. The operation unit comprises an operation unit main body and a slider unit. The slider unit supports the long-axis member so as to be fixed in the axial direction and supports a spiraling mechanism that restricts the action of the stylet. The spiraling mechanism has a cam tube having a guide path formed therein and a convex section that engages with the guide path and is provided in the stylet. Only the long-axis member moves to the base end side if a load is applied that has a force acting on the tip that is greater than the force that moves the slider section to the base end side relative to the operation unit main body and moves the stylet to the base end side. |
