A light-source integrated processor (3) according to the present invention for processing an imaging signal transmitted from an endoscope (2A) provided with an imaging element, the signal processor being configured such that the endoscope (2A) provided with an imaging element is removably mounted on the signal processor, and also being communicably connected to a standalone processor (4), wherein the signal processor is provided with: a light-adjusting control unit (35) for generating a first light-adjustment control signal on the basis of the imaging signal inputted from the endoscope (2A); an endoscope connection detection unit (36a) for detecting whether the endoscope (2A) is electrically connected thereto; and a mode selection unit (36b) for selecting, on the basis of the detection result from the endoscope connection detection unit (36a), one of the first light-adjustment control signal and a second light-adjustment control signal inputted from the standalone processor (4), and causing a switching unit (37) to output the selected light-adjustment control signal to a light source unit (38). |
