Provided is a light polarization plate which is capable of inhibiting warpage of thin liquid crystal cells, while achieving high-definition display quality. This light polarization plate 100 is provided with a light polarizer 10, and a protective film 20 disposed on the light polarizer 10. The thickness of the light polarizer 10 is not more than 10 µm. The light polarization degree of the light polarization plate 100 is at least 99.98%. The total light transmittance of the light polarization plate 100 is at least 42%.
