A door lock device (1) for a vehicle according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a casing; a connection section to which a connector for connection to an external device is connected; a latch mechanism (4) having a latch (43) and a ratchet (44); a locking and unlocking mechanism (6) having a lever lock (63) and a motor (68); a first switch (13) for detecting the pivotal position of the lever lock (63); a second switch (14) for switching between the on and off states of a room lamp of the vehicle depending on the pivotal position of the latch (43); a switch plate (7) for electrically connecting the connection section, and the motor (68) and the first switch (13), the connection section, the motor (68), and the first switch (13) being arranged at the front of the inside of the casing in the front-rear direction of the vehicle; and a harness plate (8) for electrically connecting the second switch (14) and the connection section through the switch plate (7) and a plurality of harnesses. |
