[Problem] To provide technology capable of efficiently changing the output characteristic of music data by a simple operation without selecting whether the music data is being reproduced or not. [Solution] An audio controller 2 specifies a usage environment of a wireless speaker 1 from captured image data of an installation room of the wireless speaker 1. An output characteristic suitable for the specified usage environment is selected, and the selected output characteristic is set as the output characteristic of music data outputted from the wireless speaker 1. The ratio between the width of a wall behind the wireless speaker 1 and the width of the speaker is found here from the captured image data of the installation room of the wireless speaker 1 an image of which was captured with boundaries between the wall behind the wireless speaker 1 and walls on both sides thereof being aligned with both edges of an angular field, and on the basis of this ratio, the area of the installation room of the wireless speaker 1 is specified and utilized as the usage environment. Moreover, the installation position of the speaker is specified on the basis of the display position of the speaker in the captured image data and also utilized as the usage environment. |
