An out-of-head localization processing apparatus according to the present embodiment is provided with: headphones (43); left and right microphones (2L, 2R); a measurement unit (35) that measures left and right headphone transfer characteristics individually; an inverse-filter calculation unit (32) that calculates inverse filters for the headphone transfer characteristics individually; a correction unit (33) that calculates correction filters by correcting the inverse filters in a frequency domain; and an input unit (31) that accepts a user input. The correction unit (33) corrects the inverse filters using a preset correction function in a first band. In a second band, the inverse filters are corrected in accordance with a correction pattern selected by means of the user input.
