Provided is a fuel cell wherein the amount of contamination in a cooling path is small, a decrease in the electric generation efficiency of the electric generation unit due to a rise in the electric conductivity of the heat transfer medium is suppressed, the amount of heat radiation can be controlled, and a common fan can be used for the radiator and for ventilation. Also provided are a control method for controlling heat exchange in the fuel cell, and a computer program for causing a computer to execute control processing of the heat exchange. The fuel cell (300) comprises: a stack cooling path (4) for cooling, by circulation of a first heat transfer medium, a stack (1) that generates electricity by reacting hydrogen and oxygen; a radiator flow-through path (5) wherein a second heat transfer medium circulates while flowing through a radiator (51); a cooling pump (40) provided on the stack cooling path (4); a radiator pump (50) provided on the radiator flow-through path (5); and a heat exchanger (70) for exchanging heat between the first heat transfer medium and the second heat transfer medium. |
