PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect an output of a power supply apparatus for outputting both positive polarity bias and negative polarity bias.SOLUTION: An output detection device detects an output from a negative polarity bias output part including a negative polarity transformer, a negative polarity driving part and a negative polarity rectifier part or an output from a power supply apparatus including a positive polarity transformer, a positive polarity driving part and a positive polarity rectifier part. The output detection device includes a detection circuit utilizing an operational amplifier which is connected to a one-side grounded single power supply, connects a non-inverting input terminal to the ground, and connects an inverted input terminal and an output terminal to the output of the power supply apparatus through a detection element. The inverted input terminal of the operational amplifier is connected to the positive polarity rectifier part and the negative polarity rectifier part, and when positive polarity bias is outputted, reference ground potential of the detection circuit is set to the inverted input terminal of the operational amplifier, and when negative polarity bias is outputted, the reference ground potential of the detection circuit is set to an output terminal of the operational amplifier. |
