PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a stereo pair capable of improving the calculation accuracy of a DEM.SOLUTION: The stereo pair determination device includes a parallax calculation unit 3 for searching for a set of scene data S(m) and S(n) in which photographing parallax P(m,n) between images is included in a predetermined range to use the set as a stereo pair SP(a). An image searching unit 4 calculates, for each stereo pair SP(a), a normalized correlation value cor(a) between images indicated by photographed data G(m) and G(n) included in the scene data S(m) and S(n), and removes the stereo pair SP(a) whose normalized correlation value cor(a) is lower than a threshold &bgr; to leave only the stereo pair SP(a) whose normalized correlation value cor(a) is the threshold &bgr; or higher. |
