PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering control device and a vehicular steering control method capable of performing SBW control and control of drive support function even when a stored steering angle cannot be read out.SOLUTION: When voltage of a battery becomes less than a voltage threshold in the on-state of an ignition switch, a clutch in the open state is switched into the fastening state and, further, drive support function for a driver of a vehicle is controlled by using a steering angle estimated immediately before the clutch is switched into the fastening state. When the clutch in the fastening state is switched into the open state, the voltage less than the voltage threshold becomes the voltage threshold or more and, by using the steering angle estimated when it is determined that a running state of the vehicle is straight, control of drive support function and calculation of target steering angle are performed. |
