PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable polystyrene resin particle that is excellent in fusibility and can produce a foam molded body having excellent property of preventing abnormal noise.SOLUTION: A foamable polystyrene resin particle for preventing abnormal noise includes a foamable polystyrene resin particle, a zinc stearate present on the surface thereof and a diisobutyl adipate. The content of the zinc stearate on the surface of the foamable polystyrene resin particle for preventing abnormal noise is not less than 0.5 wt% to not more than 3.0 wt% based on the foamable polystyrene resin particle for preventing abnormal noise and the content of the diisobutyl adipate is not less than 0.01 wt% to not more than 0.1 wt% based on the foamable polystyrene resin particle for preventing abnormal noise.
