PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetizer that can apply a stronger magnetic field than the conventional art to a long magnetic material.SOLUTION: A magnetizer 1 comprises: a cylindrical yoke 2 extending in a direction of an axial center 3; and a plurality of magnets 11, 13, 15, 17 arranged on a magnet arrangement region 7 on an inside surface 25 of the yoke. The plurality of magnets are arranged so that the magnets (11, 13) positioned on a plane orthogonal to the axial center 3 exhibit the same directional magnetic pole relative to the axial center 3, and the magnets (11, 15) adjacent to one another in a direction parallel to the axial center 3 exhibit a magnetic pole in an opposite direction relative to the axial center 3. The yoke 2 has, in a direction parallel to the axial center 3, a structure thicker than the magnet arrangement region 7 outside the magnet arrangement region 7. |
