1. A negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery comprising:
(a) a core including a carbon-based material; and (b) an organic polymer coating layer uniformly formed on an entire surface of the core, wherein the organic polymer coating layer is formed of a polymer compound, wherein the polymer is selected from the group consisting of an epoxy compound containing a fluorine component, and a silane-based compound containing a fluorine component, wherein the epoxy compound containing a fluorine component comprises a compound expressed as the following Chemical Formula 1:and
wherein the silane-based compound containing a fluorine component comprises a compound expressed as the following Chemical Formula 3:
CF3—(CF2)o—(CH2)p—SiCl3 [Chemical Formula 3] (where o is an integer between 1 and 12, and p is an integer of 1 or 2), and wherein the carbon-based material is one or more selected from the group consisting of natural graphite, artificial graphite, fibrous graphite, amorphous carbon, and amorphous carbon-coated graphite. |
