FLOOR-STANDING AIR CONDITIONER AND USAGE METHOD THEREOF

A floor-standing air conditioner and usage method thereof. The floor-standing air conditioner comprises a top cover component (1), a main body (2), and a bottom base (3). A top opening (24) is formed at an upper end of the main body (2), and the top cover component (1) is disposed at the top opening (24). A first air outlet (4) is disposed between the top cover component (1) and the main body (2). The top cover component (1) is a height-adjustable structure, and can block the top opening (24) when lowered. A second air outlet (31) is disposed on the bottom base (3), and the bottom base (3) is further provided with a casing (32) capable of opening or closing the second air outlet (31). The usage method thereof comprises: in an off state of the floor-standing air conditioner, lowering the top cover component (1) to block the top opening (24), and at the same time, rotating the casing (32) to position an air outlet grating (321) at a rear side of the air conditioner. The floor-standing air conditioner presents a seamless appearance from a front side when in an off state, thereby preventing dust and impurities from entering the interior of the floor-standing air conditioner.
