PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide monitoring device capable of detecting abnormalities of a sliding state between a movable body linearly displaced and a slide member.SOLUTION: Slide liners 22 are attached to guide rails 2 which guide displacement of an upper cutting edge body fixed along the vertical direction, and subjected to sliding when the upper cutting edge body is displaced. A laser rangefinder 5 for measuring a distance up to a lower end of the slide liners 22 fixed along the vertical direction is disposed under the slide liners 22. An abnormality detection unit 6 detects depending on variations in the distance measured by the laser rangefinder 5 that abnormality arises in a sliding state between the upper cutting edge body and the slide liners 22. |
