PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autohesion label capable of inactivating an adhesive in a small lot and at a low cost without using a large-sized printing machine or other facilities, freely selecting a pattern thereof and printing any variable information on an autohesion adhesive layer 3, and to provide a method for inactivating the adhesive thereof.SOLUTION: An attention is drawn to a fact that an ink of a thermal transfer ink ribbon is directly transferred and printed on an autohesion adhesive layer 3 of an autohesion label so as to inactivate the autohesion adhesive layer 3. The autohesion label includes: a thermosensitive color former layer 4 provided on the surface side of a label base material 2; and a release agent layer 5 provided on the upper layer of the thermosensitive color former layer 4. An adhesive inactivation layer 20 is formed by transferring and laminating the ink of the thermal transfer ink ribbon on the autohesion adhesive layer 3. |
