A light-emitting apparatus and a related projection system. The light-emitting apparatus comprises an excitation light source (1) for generating an excitation light and a first supplemental lighting laser light source (2) for generating a first light; a wavelength conversion apparatus (3) comprising a first wavelength conversion layer (31) that is used for absorbing the excitation light to generate an excited light without absorbing the first light; the wavelength conversion layer (31) receives at one side thereof the excitation light and the first light and emits at same side at least a portion of the first light; a light guide apparatus (4) comprising a first area and a second area, where the first area is smaller than the second area, the first light coming from the laser light source (2) and the excitation light coming from the excitation light source (1) respectively enter the first area and at least the second area of the light guide apparatus (4) via a first optical path, and respectively are guided by the first area and by at least the second area to the wavelength conversion apparatus (3); the second area of the light guide apparatus (4) also is used for guiding to a second optical path for emission the excited light coming from the wavelength conversion apparatus (3) and the reflected first light. |
