The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the number of antenna bodies without deforming the beam shape of electromagnetic waves to be transmitted. A transmission antenna (14) for a remote island power transmission system wherein power converted to electromagnetic waves is transmitted and received has antenna panels (30) planarly disposed. Each row and column constituting the plane has one or more antenna panels disposed therein and one or more gap portions (31) with no antenna panels disposed therein, while the antenna panels (30) are disposed symmetrically in the row and column directions. For example, the transmission antenna (14) is arranged such that the antenna panels (30) are not disposed adjacent to each other in the row and column directions, and the antenna panels (30) and the gap portions (31) are disposed equidistantly. |
