PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport device and a recording device capable of easily performing a maintenance operation on a transport path around paired transport rollers.SOLUTION: A transport device 24 includes: a path formation member 53 forming a transport path for a sheet S; a pair of transport rollers 28 transporting the sheet S along the transport path by rotating in a state of holding the sheet S therebetween; and a holding frame 16 holding the path formation member 53 and the paired transport rollers 28. The holding frame 16 is accomodated in a housing 12 in such a manner as to be able to be drawn from the housing 12. The paired transport rollers 28 release holding of the sheet S therebetween as the holding frame 16 is drawn from the housing 12. |
