PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color conversion method and device, program, and color conversion system capable of further improving accuracy of color reproduction of printed matter with a protection film.SOLUTION: Color conversion processing on image data is performed by using, as an input side profile or output side profile, a profile (74) created by profile creation processing including: processing of acquiring a spectral reflection factor of printed matter (50)'s protection film non-covered area that is not covered with a protection film; processing (42) of estimating an optical physical property value of a protection film (20); processing of acquiring a spectral distribution (62) of an observation light source; processing (44) of estimating a characteristic of color change caused by interaction between the protection film (20) and the printed matter as a base; processing of predicting a colorimetric value of printed matter with the protection film on the basis of the acquired spectral reflection factor, optical physical property value of the protection film, spectral distribution of the observation light source, and characteristic of color change caused by interaction; and creation processing of creating the profile (74) on the basis of the predicted colorimetric value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
