PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an active material for a nonaqueous secondary battery negative electrode, less in initial irreversible capacity, gas generation amount and swelling of an electrode plate which are caused due to decomposition of a nonaqueous electrolyte and excellent in cycle retention rate; a negative electrode for a nonaqueous secondary battery obtained by using the active material; and a nonaqueous secondary battery including the negative electrode.SOLUTION: An active material for a nonaqueous secondary battery negative electrode contains: graphite complex particles (A) in which graphite (C) and graphite (D) having an orientation different from that of the graphite (C) are compounded; and an organic compound (B) having an ionic group and an aromatic ring. |
