Input device comprising an operation-input part 22, which may be a touch pad, which is vertically movably supported above a base plate 26. The base plate has a hook 61 standing towards the track pad, which has an arm member 71 that can come into contact with the hook. This contact specifies an ascending limit of the input part. At least one of the arm and hook has elasticity in the contacting direction. This reduces the click sound made when the part returns to its original position after pressing. There may be another hook 62 and arm member 72 opposed to the first hook and arm member, and the second pair may come into contact at a position above the limit specified by the first pair. The component corresponding to the elastic element in the first pair may have higher stiffness than the elastic one. The arm members may have protruding pieces 71a at their forward ends that contact the hook. The arm members may protrude in a direction intersecting the operating direction of a press operation to the touch pad. Also provided is an electronic apparatus comprising the input device, a keyboard, and a display device. |
