PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air machine capable of improving nonuniformity in flow angle of a fluid flowing out of an accelerating cascade in a circumferential direction of a rotary shaft of rotor blades even if the fluid flows in a suction direction different from an axial direction of the rotary shaft.SOLUTION: An air machine includes: rotor blades arranged within a main casing and configured to rotate around an axis; a suction casing configured to cause a fluid flowing in a suction direction different from a direction of the axis to flow into an inlet of the suction casing; and at least one accelerating cascade configured to form a flow of the fluid to a swirl flow upstream of the rotor blades. The at least one accelerating cascade includes an upstream accelerating cascade configured to be located most upstream in a flow direction of the fluid, the upstream accelerating cascade includes a plurality of upstream accelerating blades arranged in a circumferential direction of the axis, and stagger angles and camber angles of the upstream accelerating blades are set nonuniform in the circumferential direction of the axis. |
