The heald shaft has a shaft rod (11) with two flat sides (24,25). The shaft rod is provided with an opening (23) delimited by one of two legs (26,27) on one side of the rod. The opening is set to extend through the flat sides of the shaft rod. A lateral support with an extension is extended into the opening. The extension is configured to not fill the opening. A guard element (31) is set to block access toward the opening of the flat sides. |
