A single phase permanent magnet motor includes a stator core (10), windings wound around the stator core (10), and a permanent magnet rotor rotatable relative to the stator core (10). The stator core (10) includes an end portion (14), a first pole arm (18) connected with the end portion (14), and a second pole arm (20) connected with the end portion (14) and stacked with the first pole arm in an axial direction of the stator core (10). The first pole arm (18) has a shape or structure different from that of the second pole arm (20).
