Remote management of a diagnostic imaging device by means of remote desktop connections

The method involves generating and sending a sequence of images of identifier (I) and transmission indicator (T) on viewer (V), to agent (Ag). The transmission indicator is analyzed to generate a modified sequence of images. The modified sequence of images with identifier is sent from agent to viewer via remote desktop protocol (RDP) network connection (200). The modified sequence of images is received with identifier and reference identifier. The identifier is compared with reference identifier for conformity to display the sequence of images on viewer. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a client-server-based remote-viewer system; and (2) a computer program product for remote controlling of viewer.
