A flexible subsea hydrocarbon pipeline assembly comprising a flexible subsea hydrocarbon pipeline 52 having an end fitting 54 and a submersible pump 4 wholly or partly located and locked in the end fitting 54. The pipeline may be a riser, flow line or jumper, and may be an integrated production bundle. The submersible pump may be electrical or gas-powered and may be locked in the end fitting using a power docking station 72. The submersible pump may be separable from the end fitting and may be locked in place using hydraulic packers, a nipple 64 and mandrel tool 66 or a spiral screw connection. The pump may be powered using penetrators 58 in the end fitting or by power cables provided from the pipeline. A method of forming the pipeline assembly is also claimed. |
