PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a fitted state by improving workability during fitting in a weather strip fitted to an opening edge of an automobile body and including a fitting part having a recessed groove into which the end of an interior material is inserted, a seal part integrally formed with the fitting part and elastically contacted with a door peripheral edge during door closing, and a cap-shaped weld flash being disposed in the recessed groove.SOLUTION: One end of a weld flash 15 in the groove width direction of a recessed groove 14 is integrally formed with one 14a of side walls 14a and 14b constituting the recessed groove 14, and the other end is connected to the other 14b of the side walls 14a and 14b constituting the recessed groove 14 by a small connection part 16 with such strength as to be easily separated by push-in of an interior material end 17a. |
