PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device, an image forming device or the like which can prevent a malfunction of an optical sensor.SOLUTION: A sheet conveying device includes: a conveying roller for conveying a sheet by rotation; an optical sensor which is arranged on a conveying path of the sheet by the conveying roller and detects presence of the sheet; and a control circuit which determines presence of noise to the optical sensor based on a change amount per unit time of a voltage value the optical sensor outputs in response to a position of the sheet conveyed by the conveying roller, and adjusts a rotation speed of the conveying roller when it is determined that the noise exists. |
